Until now, shipping only depended on the store
Delivery cost was worked out purely by delivery zone: every item in the cart paid the same, no matter what was actually in it.
Now it can depend on the product too
Under Shipping, the new Shipping rules per product section lets you create rules that add to or replace the general shipping cost: for a single item, a hand-picked list of items, a whole product family, or a subfamily. If a cart triggers more than one rule, only the most expensive one is charged, and you can flag the extra cost right on the product page.
You turn it on, on your own schedule
The feature ships switched off: no existing store changes until you create your first rule from Shipping.
